At once bold and mysterious, our Sofia Belted Kaftan in Precious Malachite conveys a jolt of the hypnotic deeply rich green stone that has captivated so many civilizations, from the Egyptians to the Aztecs and the Europe, across a vast breadth of time. The Egyptians bestowed malachite with powers to ward off evil, while Faberge showcased its splendor against most restrained neoclassical settings—an exercise in disciplined decadence. A wide bow of rich Tyrian purple accents the waist to complete a most bewitching jewel toned statement.
The belt creates the illusion of a smaller waist, even on waists that are not actually small as visually the bow anchors the center with the very sensuous fabric flowing all around. However, the belt may be removed, if preferable.
The Sofia Belted Kaftan has been designed to fall to the floor on heights 5’9” so that it may be worn as an evening gown with high heels. It is designed so that it may be easily shortened.

Ground shipping is free on all orders, including Puerto Rico and Alaska. Please note that shipping to Hawaii is calculated at checkout. All orders to Hawaii are shipped via UPS. Expedited shipping (Next Day and 2nd Day) is also available at checkout at an extra, variable cost. Orders are shipped within 24 to 48 hours from the date they are placed (excluding weekends and US national holidays). Orders that have selected expedited shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day or 3rd Day Select) ship the same day these are placed by 3pm EST, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
INTERNATIONAL
We ship all over the world, including Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Your preferred shipping method may be selected at checkout. We ship International order via DHL. VAT/Duties/Taxes are included in the shipping costs at checkout.
We accept returns within 30 days from the date that your order is delivered. Please note that Orders marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase (i.e. priced ending in 98 cents) are not eligible for refund and may be exchanged or returned for store credit only. Blythe Earrings, decorative pillows, and Rheinhard Plank hats are not eligible for returns. Customers with orders shipped outside the US must pay shipping for returns or exchanges.
When you place a pre-order, your payment is charged, and your items are automatically reserved. Placing a pre-order ensures that your item is reserved before it sells out. Your order will ship as soon as the item becomes available, via the shipping method (i.e. ground or expedited) that was selected at the time of the order. Once your order is ready to ship, you will be receiving an email with a shipping tracking number. Pre-order items are eligible for return or exchange within 30 days of having been delivered.
