Camellia Belted Silk Kaftan

Lovely in so many ways…

"The Camellia Kaftan is lovely in so many ways! The fabric is as beautiful to touch as it is to behold. The exquisite color palette along with the intricate detail of the floral pattern are just perfect against the black background. The silk has a delightful “hand”, neither too light nor too heavy. The kimono style is relaxed and perfect for someone with more than a few extra pounds in the wrong spot (my waist). I bought a Medium although I usually wear a Large. Be sure to check the size guide details. I then contacted the company and spoke to Peter, one of the owners, who confirmed my size pick. He was delightful. I’ll be wearing it to a black tie wedding in CT in mid September. I’m pairing it with black flats (I’d break my 73-yr-old neck if I wore heels); a vintage Czech crystal necklace with dark red stones set in gold; a shimmering bronze shawl; an ancient black beaded purse; and tbd earrings. I’ve decided not to wear the belt as it sits right in the middle of my bulging waist and won’t stay put - it slides up or down making me look pregnant it and calls attention to my waist. Without it I look almost (dare I say it) skinny."

"I bought this Kaftan to wear at an outdoor garden wedding. While other ladies had to navigate with body hugging styles and heavy trcyil3s in 80 degree weather. J was cool and comfortable. This dresses is easy to dress up or down with a simple shoe and handbag choice. I'll definitely get good use out of it. Customer service was very helpful and kind. I will definitely be buying from NicoBlu again."
