Beautiful and functional!
"This is the perfect dress for me. The silk fabric has a marvelous 'flow' to it - as you walk, it creates a wonderful and elegant rippling and movement. The fabric is a bit thick and heavy -- which makes it wonderfully durable and unwrinklable. It's fabulous for traveling because you can fold it up into a small packet, but when you unfurl it, it is unwrinkled. Because it is natural fabric and nonsynthetic, it has a good energy and feel to it -- not too hot, and not too cool. I have the perfect body type for a kaftan - but it likely won't work so well for folks who are not full busted and hourglass shapey? (I'm not sure about that). I bought this for a gala fundraiser for the nonprofit I direct - I needed something elegant & impressive but not too loud or gaudy. It strikes a perfect balance between formal & less formal. It stands out as 'special' but also fits into situations where others aren't so dressed up."
