It was in the late 18th century that Napoleon, ensconced in Egypt with his army, came across a light and warm fabric in the desert. Little did he know that the cloth he held was a pashmina shawl, which had traveled all the way from Kashmir in the hands of a merchant. Immediately, he sent it to his wife, Empress Josephine, who sparked a craze for pashmina shawls throughout Europe.
We've mixed a soft yet vibrant shade, inspired by fields of lavender in Provence. Softer than cashmere, pashmina wool is light yet warm and delightfully soft on the skin. Our Josephine Pashmina Shawl is a must have for cool nights year round.

"It was a beautiful shawl. But after dry cleaning it lost it's shimmer and the it's smooth texture. Almost became fuzzy like. So I give it 4 stars for it's original look, but it does not stand up. For that cost I feel it should hold up better. If course the dry cleaner says it's the quality of the shawl not them so that's my opinion."

Ground shipping is free on all orders, including Puerto Rico and Alaska. Please note that shipping to Hawaii is calculated at checkout. All orders to Hawaii are shipped via UPS. Expedited shipping (Next Day and 2nd Day) is also available at checkout at an extra, variable cost. Orders are shipped within 24 to 48 hours from the date they are placed (excluding weekends and US national holidays). Orders that have selected expedited shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day or 3rd Day Select) ship the same day these are placed by 1:30pm EST, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

We ship all over the world, including Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Your preferred shipping method may be selected at checkout. We ship International order via DHL. VAT/Duties/Taxes are included in the shipping costs at checkout.
We accept returns within 30 days from the date that your order is delivered. Please note that Orders marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase (i.e. priced ending in 98 cents) are not eligible for refund and may be exchanged or returned for store credit only. Blythe Earrings, gift boxes, and gift cards are not eligible for returns. Customers with orders shipped outside the US must pay shipping for returns or exchanges.
When you place a pre-order, your payment is charged, and your items are automatically reserved. Placing a pre-order ensures that your item is reserved before it sells out.
